Alpha Theta Omega - Althonians in Canada is a social group that was founded on 17 August 2019. Our group members are from the Filipino-Canadian community. Furthermore, the membership to this social group is exclusive only to ALTHONIANS who are living in Canada. ALTHONIANS are all regular members of the Alpha Theta Omega Fraternity and Sorority, a Philippine based fraternity and sorority.
The Alpha Theta Omega - Althonians in Canada promotes the three main objectives of our fraternity and sorority mainly; Education, Brotherhood and Service. While education is a continuous process, our social group will be focusing mostly on preserving the camaraderie among members and to extend community service either in the Philippines or in Canada.
The members of Alpha Theta Omega - Althonians in Canada are scattered in many Canadian provinces and territories but currently we can be found in the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and territory of Yukon.
On their letter dated 21 October 2019, the Consul General of the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto had confirmed that Alpha Theta Omega - Althonians in Canada is included already on their registry of Filipino-Canadian community organizations. [Copy of the letter shown in this Link.]
